Urai AAC is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app designed for autistic and non-verbal children. We take your child's privacy seriously.
Urai AAC does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All data — including communication history, progress tracking, saved phrases, child profiles, and settings — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Urai AAC tracks your child's communication interactions (such as which words were tapped, phrases spoken, and usage frequency) solely to power the in-app Progress Dashboard and SLP Data Export features. This data exists only on your device and is never shared with anyone unless you explicitly choose to export and share it.
Urai AAC includes a data export feature designed for speech-language pathologists (SLPs). When you choose to export data, it is shared only through the method you select (such as AirDrop, email, or clipboard). No data is uploaded to any server during this process.
Urai AAC works entirely offline. No network connection is required for any feature.
Urai AAC does not require or support user accounts, logins, or registration of any kind.
Urai AAC contains no third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. No data is shared with any third party.
Urai AAC supports multiple child profiles to allow families with more than one child to use the app. Profile data (name, avatar, and usage data) is stored entirely on the device and is never transmitted externally.
Urai AAC is designed for children under 13. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not collect any personal information from children.
